The Formula 1 World Championship arrives at the Jeddah circuit in the second round of the championship. Max Verstappen continues with a firm step and will start from first position this Saturday, after leading the qualifying day on Friday. Fernando Alonso also had a good qualifying and the Asturian driver will start fourth, only behind the two Red Bulls and Charles Leclerc. The big absentee from the race will be Carlos Sainz, who will not run in Jeddah after being diagnosed and operated on for appendicitis. The Madrid driver will not be able to continue his promising start to the season, after finishing third in Bahrain. Rookie Oliver Bearman takes his seat at Ferrari this weekend.
