Carlos Alcaraz beat Thiago Seyboth this Sunday at the Caja Mágica and qualified for the round of 16 of the Madrid Open. With little brilliance, but also few complications, the Murcian defeated the Brazilian in two comfortable sets (6-3, 6-3). In this way, the current champion takes another step towards defending the title, placing himself among the sixteen best tennis players in the tournament. In the next round, German Jan-Lennar Struff awaits him, an opponent whom Alcaraz defeated in the final a year ago.
