María Villar (Madrid, 1991), better known as María Escarmiento, became the black sheep of the Operación Triunfo (OT) edition in 2018. After completing her musical studies in New York, Escarmiento tried her luck in the academy, where she stood out above the rest of the candidates for a personality so authentic that it led him to be in the news on more than one occasion, by changing the lyrics of a Mecano song or by not wanting to go to Eurovision. Regarding this, the artist admits in the video that she heads this article: “I would have done it out of shame, I don’t sing well under pressure. “It would have been a painting.” Of her new song, Pretty girl swag, He doesn’t think the same. She is convinced that it was “the best thing she has done so far.”
The talk continues with Masi Rodríguez (Málaga, 1994), actress, singer, announcer and one of the presenters of the latest edition of OT along with Chenoa. During the interview, she confesses that happiness not only depends on oneself, but also on “surrounding yourself with happy people and living in Madrid, because this city gives you many things”, he adds cheekily. At the end of the video, she will answer two questions honestly: what is the single What did you like most about this year’s participants? And the least?
