The link to the Instagram profile is a URL that, when accessed by a browser, leads the user to the social network profile. The Instagram application does not show the link in the profile, but it can be copied to be shared anywhere.

1. Access your Instagram profile
Open the Instagram application on your Android phone or iPhone and touch the icon with your photo, at the bottom right, to access your profile on the social network.
2. Tap on “Share profile” to access your Instagram link
Tap the “Share profile” button, including the biography of your account, to access the options to copy the Instagram link.

The next page displays a QR Code that directs your account and three options for you to copy or share the link to your Instagram profile:

How to copy the link of another person's Instagram profile in the app
1. Access the guide to Explore the Instagram app
Open the Instagram application on your cell phone and touch the magnifying glass icon, on the bottom left corner, to access the Instagram search area.
2. Search for the people you want to copy or the Instagram link
Touch the “Research” field, at the top of the screen, and type the name or at sign (@) of the people you want to know or the Instagram link. Then, tap on the top of the profile to continue.
3. Tap “Copy Profile URL” on Instagram
Touch the three-point icon, at the top edge directly, to view the profile options menu. Then, tap the “Copy profile URL” option to register the link in the cell phone transfer area and paste it anywhere that contains a text entry.
How to copy or link a profile on PC
1. Access Instagram in your browser or computer
Open a browser on your computer and access Instagram.com to see the web version of the social network of photos and videos.
2. Click on “Pesquisa” to search for a person's profile on Instagram
Click on the “Research” option, on the left side of the screen, to open the social network search field. Enter the name or sign of the person you want to know on the Instagram link and click on the top to open the profile.
3. Select the URL in the browser's right bar
Click on the browser's right bar and select the URL of your Instagram profile.
4. Copy the URL of your Instagram profile
Click the right mouse button on top of the selected URL and tap the “Copy” option to register the link in the computer transfer area.
Can I prevent other people from copying the link of my Instagram profile?
No. When you create an Instagram account, you generate a URL link that can be accessed by anyone inside or outside the social network. For this reason, it is not possible to prevent anyone from copying the link to your profile.
Is it possible to prevent access to my Instagram profile with the link?
You cannot prevent access to your Instagram profile through the link. A suggestion is to set your Instagram private so that only your approved followers view your content. The followers who access your page on the social network will only see your name, your profile photo and your biography.
Can I change the link of my Instagram profile?
Sim. You can change your Instagram username and also alter the link to your profile. Note that a new symbol (@) needs to be available for use to make this change.
Once you change your username, your symbol will be automatically changed within your social network. However, old links for your profile that are outside the platform will not be redirected to the new URL.
