President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine will receive 200 Rosomak armored personnel carriers from Poland.
It is worth mentioning that the KTO Rosomak wheeled armored personnel carrier is a multi-role military vehicle produced by Rosomak SA, a company of the Polish armaments group.
“It is good to have good results for the state, in terms of weapons, international support, expansion of our ties with the world and our movement towards NATO,” said the Ukrainian president, according to collect the Ukrainian Service Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
“The most important thing these days is, of course, the visit to Poland, our agreements, our achievements. Poland has complied with everything stated regarding tanks: are already in Ukraine, in particular the LeopardsZelensky added.
“As for the Rosomak armored personnel carriers (we will have) 200 vehicles. One hundred now and one hundred later. More self-propelled mortars and additional missiles,” the president concluded.
It should be recalled that Volodymyr Zelensky and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki signed a letter of intent to cooperate in supplying defense equipment in Warsaw on April 5.
As reported by the press service of the Ukrainian President, the purpose of this is to ensure constant support and strengthening of the defense capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through Ukraine’s acquisition of Polish defense equipment, in particular the Rosomak armored personnel carriers.
