The star rookie of the New York Yankees, the Dominican Jasson Domínguez, keeps the entire team related to the Mules in suspense upon being removed from the roster of this Sunday’s game to face the Milwaukee Brewers.
According to information from the team itself Domínguez was removed from the lineup due to inflammation in his right elbowso now the Yankees will have to look for a suitable replacement for the outfielder.
Those from the Bronx also noted that for the moment Domínguez will not be added to the disabled list for 10 days and that his status will be a daily medical review.
Domínguez’s absence is a blow to the Yankees’ offense, which increasingly reduces their chances of qualifying for the 2023 postseason.
The Martian as the baseball player is usually nicknamed He has a .258 average (31-8) with seven RBIs from a double and four home runs.
In fact, hitting four home runs made him the youngest player since 1900 to hit a home run in four of his first seven games.
It will be the primary objective of the Yankees doctors to take care of Domínguez’s health for the next season, in which He could establish himself as a regular starter from Opening Day and be a direct candidate for the 2024 Rookie of the Year award.
