Mercedes Mone was injured Sunday night at the NJPW Resurgence event, where she had backstage support from a familiar face.
It turns out that Tamina Snuka was backstage during the show. Sean Sapp noted on Twitter that Tamina went with Mercedes Mone to the hospital after her injury.
I was told that Tamina was backstage at NJPW Resurgence supporting Mercedes Mone. He helped Mercedes through the back before Mercedes went to the hospital.
Chelsea Green once told me that she thought her broken wrist would have shattered if Tamina hadn’t helped nurse it during her match.
It was also noted that “I haven’t heard anything but good things about Tamina”. Obviously, Tamina hasn’t forgotten about her friends at all and it shows.
It will be necessary to see what follows for Mercedes Mone. ORAn ankle injury is not something she expected or had time for.
