WWE Smackdown 4/7 Report – Matt Riddle saves Sami Zayn from Bloodline attack | #wwe #Aew | The USA Print

Friday night results on FOX.

– The night began with a third party match in which IMPERIUM was defeated by the Brawling Brutes

– Backstage, Paul Heyman informs Jey Uso that The Tribal Chief ordered Jimmy to stay at his house to see how his brother could beat Sami Zayn alone today.

– Ricochet defeated Ivar

– Despite Kevin Owens’ refusal, we could see how Sami Zayn was determined to talk to Jey Uso before the fight between them.

-The Game, Triple H came to the ring to make an important announcement. This would be that in a few weeks, the WWE DRAFT will be back and in this all the Superstars of the roster will be available.

Triple H then stated that this Draft will change the future and fate of the WWE Superstar on the back. He ended the promo by promising that when all is said and done, the 2023 Draft will truly change the game.

Triple H would close the promo introducing the New SmackDown Champion, Rhea Ripley. Rhea would give a promo in which she, along with Judgment Day, would remember what happened at WrestleMania to later start a fight between Dominik and Damian Priest vs. Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar

-Dominik and Damian would end up defeating Rey and Santos after Priest ironed Escobar. Ripley was attacked by Zelina Vega during the match and chased her into the public area.

-We were able to see how Sami went to talk to Jey Uso before their match in the Main Event. Sami would tell Jey that the end of The Bloodline is near; and he wouldn’t want Jey to go down with the rest of his family. However, the talk would end when Sami Zayn realized that Solo Sikoa took advantage of the fact that Sami was not there to attack Kevin Owens, who was injured in his leg.

– In the Main Event, with the help of Solo Sikoa, Jey Uso defeated Sami Zayn.

After the match, Jey stopped Solo from attacking Sami, but this would only be for Jey himself to attack Sami with a head kick, until Matt Riddle came to Zayn’s rescue. Let’s remember that it was Sikoa who took Riddle out of the race a few months ago.

Riddle and Sami stay in the ring together to close the show.
