The Formula 1 World Championship continues with the Spanish Grand Prix, two weeks after the Canadian Grand Prix, in which Max Verstappen took victory after a disputed race with Lando Norris and George Russell. The distance between the world champion and the rest of the grid seems increasingly narrower and this weekend has once again shown that McLaren and Mercedes are no longer as far from Red Bull as they were last season.

Pole of the Spanish GP

Norris managed to take over the pole this Saturday and will start first on Sunday, ahead of Verstappen and Hamilton. In Montmeló, the British McLaren driver will try to score his second victory of the season, but to do so he will have to hold off the world champion at the start and the rest of the day. The Spaniards Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso will start sixth and tenth, respectively.
