Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is currently one of the most feared players in the Major Leagues, therefore, when a pitcher manages to strike him out, it can be considered a small triumph, but it is also a special case of a position player who managed to fan him and, in addition to that small personal victory, received a unique gift from the Dominican.
This is Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Luke Raley, who took the mound in the ninth inning of the game in which the Blue Jays won 20-1. The player allowed seven runs in a work of 1.2 episodes but, between that bad time that happened, there was a moment he’ll never forget, when he struck out ‘Vladdy Jr.’ with a launch at 50 miles per hour (MPH).
That moment was also engraved in the memory of the Dominican slugger who, knowing how surprising the result of his confrontation with Raley was, decided to give him a gift by sending him a ball signed with the inscription “You got me”, which in Spanish means: “you won me”.
Guerrero Jr. immediately took revenge
But that detail, which is clearly a sign of respect, is also due to the fact that Guerrero Jr. was able to take revenge almost immediately in said game. And it is that They didn’t just meet once. but there were two and in the second, the balance was in favor of the Blue Jays starter.

The Blue Jays and Rays met twice after that game and the Toronto team was definitely missing some of those 20 runs as they were dominated on back-to-back days by Shane McClanahan and Zach Eflin, respectively.
