Valencia has made official one of the first important operations in the LaLiga transfer market. This is the arrival of goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski, who arrives free and signs a contract until 2026 with the Valencian entity. Dimitrievski, 30, is one of the most reliable goalkeepers in LaLiga and has played for Rayo Vallecano for the last six seasons. “Valencia CF has reached an agreement for the incorporation of Stole Dimitrievski until June 30, 2026. International with his national team and with a Spanish passport, Dimitrievski arrives at the Camp de Mestalla after playing 127 official matches in the First Division and joins the roster of team goalkeepers to provide reliability and experience to the Valencia CF goal. Once he joins work for the preseason, he will be presented as a new Valencia CF footballer to the media,” Valencia states in a statement. The goalkeeper and the club itself had reached an agreement a few weeks ago.

Valencia has announced the signing of the footballer in a very original way on social networks. Rubén Baraja, the team’s coach, who is on the verge of playing in Europe next season, will have a very interesting roster of goalkeepers for next season. With Dimitrievski recently signed, the coach will also have the starter Mamardashvili, an international for Georgia and one of the best goalkeepers in the League, with whom he could do business in the transfer market. In addition, they also have Jaume Domenech, the home goal of the Valencian team, who did not finish the season due to a serious injury and who has a contract until 2025.

Valencia has valued Mamardashvili at 45 million euros and there are clubs, such as Newcastle, that have been interested in the goalkeeper. Pending the resolution of the Georgian goalkeeper’s future, Dimitrievski would be the only useful goalkeeper in the squad, since Rivero is out of contract and Jaume is injured. If Mamardashvili leaves, it cannot be ruled out that Valencia will face the signing of another goalkeeper.

“It was clear to me. I know the city and the club through friends. I never had doubts. I have always had Valencia in my head. I love your story, it’s very great. I also like their sports project, based on young players. Six years ago I came to Mestalla with Rayo Vallecano and it was the stadium that impressed me the most,” said Dimitrievski in his first words as a Valencian fan.
