The US State Department stated on Monday that the Russian president Vladimir Putin “is begging for help” from his North Korean counterpart Kim Jong-Un, before the meeting that both will hold in the coming days in the midst of the offensive against Ukraine.
“We interpret it as him begging for help,” Matthew Miller, spokesperson for the US State Department, said in a press conference, reported the Efe news agency.
Both leaders are expected to discuss the exchange of weapons and military technology, despite the warnings that the West and Asia have made.
“It doesn’t seem like a social gathering.”ironically, the US official, who warned that Washington will closely monitor the outcome of that meeting.

This is Kim’s first trip abroad in four years. And he arrived this Tuesday in the Russian Far East, where the meeting with Putin will take place, which, according to the Kremlin, will take place in the coming days.
The North Korean leader arrived in Russia on his armored train, accompanied by a large delegation that includes his Defense and Foreign Ministers, as well as senior military officials.
EFE highlighted that various media had reported that the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un will be focused on a military-technical cooperation agenda.
Jake Sullivan, White House National Security Advisor, had already emphasized a week ago that North Korea will not look good to the world if it decides to supply weapons to Russia for its offensive against Ukrainian territory.
“Providing weapons to Russia to use on the battlefield against grain silos and heating infrastructure in major cities as we head into winter to try to conquer the territory of another sovereign nation is not going to look good for North Korea. and will pay a price for it in the international community.”Sullivan warned.
