Unai Simón has renewed his contract with Athletic Club until 2029, without the new agreement establishing a termination clause. The Spanish international thus extends his relationship with the Basque team, which ended in 2025, for four more years.
During the renewal announcement, Simón confirmed his commitment to Athletic. “It is a way to be grateful to the people who have helped me reach this level, I am very happy at Athletic and the best way to thank them is by being here until the time the club considers,” declared the Alava goalkeeper.
