“What people don’t know is that I worked with a torn labrum for over a year, just fought, kept fighting like this and didn’t say anything because I don’t want to look weak. I don’t want it to look like there’s a problem, you don’t want to be taken off the TV, nothing like that. I just wanted to keep working, so I kept working with a shoulder injury, and it was affecting me, I wasn’t feeling well. When I had free time, the first thing I did was fix my shoulder. I had shoulder surgery, it was like this for months, unable to work and everything simply disappeared. At one point, I was like ‘I’m done, I don’t think I’ll ever wrestle again.’ I just worked mentally to get through it all, have a great support system and see the fans go ‘We want you back, we want to see you, how are you?’ The support and my family, I got back to where I needed to be. I got over the injury, I got over the surgery, all of that was a lot, mentally. I had surgery. I had a torn labrum, plus being off road after that is all I’ve known for the last 13-14 years, that’s been my life, being with my husband every day, traveling every day and all of a sudden , sitting alone at home to fix everything. It was a lot, but I feel that it has made me stronger mentally, physically, I feel great. Just having that time to really miss wrestling, really miss the business, really miss the job, I was like ‘Oh no, this isn’t it. I can’t leave like this’”

A new stage has begun for Trinity and former Women’s Champion Naomi, we will see that new goals he intends to achieve in his career at 35 years of age.
