Denmark qualified second in the group without honors, tied in everything with Slovenia, which came third and also moved on to the next phase, consequently certifying the elimination of Croatia, which until yesterday maintained a squalid halo of life. Danes and Slovenes reached the round of 16 with three draws in as many games, a success for Slovenia and not so much for Denmark, from whom something more is always expected.

Denmark tried a street market tiquitaca, with many passes, 348 in the first part, with a lot of lirili, but little reading; without any depth, trying to find some black hole in the Serbian defense, which calmly retreated due to the slow movement of its rivals. The Danes approached and, when they reached the edge of the area, they retreated, like the bellows of an accordion when it takes a breath, but without getting the melody right.

This is how the first 45 minutes stretched, and also those that followed, because it was the same but in reverse, with Serbia, after two changes at half-time, trying to do the same thing that Denmark had not managed to do.

The panorama changed a little, because the Serbs were a little more vertical. Skirmishes occurred in both areas, although neither Schmeichel nor Rajkovic had much work beyond corner kicks or some fouls hanging in the area. Without gunpowder on the front lines, the match remained the same until the end.

Serbia, with Novak Djokovic in the stands, could not even resort to the epic in the last minutes of the match and was left out of the round of 16.
