Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is addressing the media this Friday, at the press conference prior to Saturday’s Champions League final (La1, 9:00 p.m.). The Madrid delegation has been in London since yesterday afternoon, and the merengue squad already trained this Friday at Wembley Stadium, where they will seek to win the fifteenth Champions League for the white club.
The biggest unknown heading into the final had to do with who will be the starting goalkeeper, a doubt that Ancelotti could have cleared up in the press conference. Lunin was a starter throughout the season, but Courtois will be the starter in the “most important game of the season”, in the coach’s own words. “Lunin has had the flu that has not allowed him to travel. Tomorrow he travels, but he goes to the bench. So, Courtois is going to play tomorrow,” declared the Italian.
