Raimunda, between ghosts and good food
The Raimunda restaurant (Recoletos Walk, 2) is named after the ghost who, according to legend, lives in the Palacio de Linares, the current headquarters of the Casa de América, very close to the Cibeles roundabout. The restaurant is located in the large garden of the palace, among lush vegetation with a colonial feel. It is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre and enjoy an exotic gastronomic offer.
The menu is designed for sharing. So much so that right in the middle of the beautiful garden there is a large round table for more than 20 people, ideal for celebrating birthdays and special occasions with friends and family. The garden also has secluded corners with charming tables for two.
Raimunda is a Mediterranean food restaurant with Latin touches“It is a place with a lot of history, ideal for getting lost in its garden and enjoying a summer afternoon,” says the manager of the place. You must order the Venezuelan tequeños with green lime mojo, the creamy ham croquettes, the traditional guacamole and the sea bass ceviche with mango. “This combination pays homage to the Ibero-American culture, alluding to the place where this space is located, La Casa de América,” they say.

The best swimming pool in Madrid

Picalagartos Sky Bar (Gran Vía, 21) located on the top floor of the NH Collection Gran Vía hotel, is named after the tavern that appears in Luces de Bohemia, the masterpiece of playwright, poet and novelist Ramón María del Valle-Inclán. The rooftop is a trend in Madrid because, in addition to the best sunsets, you can see many influencers, actors and singers who share their posts having fun there.
Now, they also have the cocktail of the season: the paloma, a drink that includes Don Julio Blanco Tequila, lime juice, grapefruit soda, grapefruit bitters and classic Tajín, created by Luca Anastasio.
