A 16-year-old teenager was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of the fatal shooting of another minor on a street in Brownsville, Brooklyn (NYC). in broad daylight last month.
The suspect, whose name has not been released due to his age, was charged with homicide and criminal possession of a weapon regarding the death of Graig Bassett, aged 17, reported Pix11.
According to the New York police, the victim walked out of the “YaYa Deli” establishment at the corner of Saratoga Ave. and Prospect Place. around 4:55 pm on March 15, where he was received by some young people.

It is not clear the reason for the attack or the possible link between those involved. All charges are mere accusations and those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
