“It was very complex, hard and tremendous to go back to work after the death of my daughter, which was totally unexpected. This year started in a very painful way and I carry it with me wherever I go and wherever I am, it is more inside me than ever,” Raúl began, with an open heart, in a note with Juan Etchegoyen for the living of Mitre Live.
“She goes up on stage and comes down with me, she greets me when I thank people for what they say to me. She rehearses with me when it’s my turn to rehearse and she is with me. She is always with me and will always be with me, she will never be separated from me.” The actor shared his personal beliefs, where he talks about a special attachment to his daughter, despite what happened.
“I believe in signs and it’s good to believe in that kind of thing. And something happened to me that I could tell you about. My daughter really liked cats, she always had two or three cats with her… And one day, two months ago, a very small, wet kitten appeared, a kitten. We saved her life and obviously adopted her and I think that’s a sign in some way,” Rizzo shared, now attached to the animal he believes his daughter sent him.
