PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi spoke publicly this Wednesday about Kylian Mbappé And when referring to the striker, it seems that he left behind all the controversy about the player’s desire to leave the French capital in the last transfer market.
In a press conference regarding his visit to Sporting Braga’s new sports city, Al-Khelaifi spoke about his current relationship with Kylian Mbappé and how he has begun to unite the squad inside and outside the team.
“Kylian Mbappé is an incredible player and a fantastic person.. And the PSG team, on and off the field, has never been so united, something that could be seen last weekend in the match against Lyon (4-1, two goals from Mbappé) ”, he commented to regard.
He then spoke about what the planning will be for this season, where he hopes that the level of play and the chemistry of the squad will be the main thing to improve and not so much the results.
“This year, in the new PSG cycle, we focus less on results and more on performance and our style of play. If we do, the results will be with us. We have a fantastic coach and sports director and I am very happy with the renewed spirit that reigns in the club”, he added.
The Qatari leader revealed that he was positive about the evolution of the world of football in the Middle East, and affirmed that “the world is global and so is football”: “There should not be a singular vision of the world, otherwise you cannot grow nor develop. Whether it is with private capital from the United States or with investments from other parts of the world, it is always good for soccer. The investment is good, it is a starting point”.
