Clarissa Molina will be one of the hosts of the Latin AMAs. Prior to the award ceremony, the Dominican interviewed Pepe Aguilar, who spoke about his daughter Angela and what it is like for him to be her music producer.

The Mexican music singer assured that it is very easy for him to be the one who produces his daughter’s music, but it is not clear if it is just as simple for the 19-year-old girl.

“I don’t know how easy it will be for her for me to produce her. I am very demanding, very disciplined, I demand that she know the songs, that she not read them, that she not stay up late before recording, that she concentrate on her album. That was when he was 8 or 9 years old, when he began to sing, well there was no problem. Now that she is 19, that there are gallants, that there is life… I understand, but if I draw a line here I am your father and here I am not your father”, said the interpreter in an interview with Clarissa Molina.

Very calmly, Pepe Aguilar stressed that when he is the producer, he is the producer. At that time he is not the father of the young interpreter. “What you have to do is prioritize. I don’t even dream that I talk nice to him, obviously I don’t talk ugly, but if it’s ‘let’s go to work,’” Aguilar said from Mexico.

Pepe Aguilar was precisely one of the artists honored for his legacy at the Latin AMAs Legacy Show, along with Carlos Vives.

Pepe and Angela Aguilar compete against each other in the Best Artist – Regional Mexican category. In this line to be awarded, the following artists also stand out: Carin León, Chiquis, Christian Nodal, Edén Muñoz, Gerardo Ortiz, Ivan Cornejo, Junior H and Luis R Conriquez. The winner will be announced on Thursday, April 20 in a broadcast through Univision, Unimas and Galavision from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
