The BMO Stadium witnessed a star-studded night in the match between Inter Miami and Los Angeles FC, a match that Florida ended up taking by a score of 1-3.
As has been the custom since Argentine Lionel Messi arrived in Major League Soccer, nobody wanted to miss the opportunity to see the star liveso the preferential boxes were attended by personalities ranging from Prince Harry of England to basketball player LeBron James.
Actors Leonardo Di Caprio, Selena Gomez and Gerard Butler, as well as singer Liam Gallagherwere also some of the personalities who attended the Inter Miami match against LAFC this Sunday.
This was the first time that Lionel Messi had visited Los Angeles and his arrival also attracted the Mexican Julio Urías, player of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the MLB, and the NBA basketball player James Harden.
Los Angeles Lakers legend “Magic” Johnson and actor Will Ferrell, who co-own LAFC, were also on hand at the stadium.
The stadium was at full capacity despite general public tickets costing more than $500.
Inter Miami, which with the arrival of Messi was crowned champion of the Leagues Cup and qualified for the final of the US Open Cup, continues to have a strong foothold in the MLS thanks to the impact of Messi with eleven goals in ten games.
