Carlos Alcaraz defeated Jan-Lennard Struff this Tuesday in the round of 16 of the Madrid Open. The Murcian has again beaten the German in three sets at the Caja Mágica (6-3, 6-7 (5) and 7-6 (4), in 2h 52m), as he already did in the final a year ago .
In this way, Alcaraz continues its path towards defending the title in the Spanish capital. The current champion has already entered the top eight tennis players of the tournament and the Russian Andrey Rublev, who comfortably beat the Dutch Tallon Griekspoor, is already waiting for him in the next round.
