Morrissey concert in CDMX postponed for this reason

British singer Morrissey Not only did he have to postpone the concert he would have given on September 10 at the Palacio de los Deportes in CDMX, to celebrate 40 years of experience. He also rescheduled shows in Lima, BogotĆ”, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Brasilia.

On the morrisseycentral site, where the ā€œThe More You Ignore Me The Closer I Getā€ singer and his team communicate with fans, the message was published yesterday that ā€œMozā€ contracted dengue in Mexico.

ā€œMorrissey’s arrival in Mexico City resulted in a dengue infection. The virus will take 2 to 3 weeks to disappear. The tour will resume in Floridaā€.

ā€œMorrissey has not canceled any shows, but the infection makes the next two weeks impossible,ā€ the statement said.

The CDMX recital, promoter Ocesa announced on Saturday, had to be postponed due to medical recommendation and will take place on October 31.

It is unknown when Morrissey arrived in CDMX or if the former leader of the cult band The Smiths is still there.

Currently, the 64-year-old singer was seen last Monday attending the band Garbage’s show and chatting with singer Shirley Manson.
