More than $7 million dollars annually: Chicharito Hernández is the highest paid Hispanic in the MLS | The USA Print

A list published this Wednesday by the MLS Players Association (MLSPA) revealed that the Mexican Javier “Chicharito” Hernández is the highest paid Hispanic in the American soccer league, above other stars with an even higher poster.

The list, which is led by Xherdan Shaqiri ($8,153,000) and Lorenzo Insigne ($7,500,000), has Chicharito Hernández in third place with an annual salary of $7,443,750.between what he earns for base salary and different bonuses for his performances on the pitch.

A new Latino appears in the fourth box with the Argentine striker from Austin FC, Sebastián Driussi, who receives $6,022,500 dollarsbeing the last one that exceeds six million.

Next is another Mexican in the count: Héctor Herrera. Houston Dynamo midfielder earns $5,246,875 annually since he arrived in the United States from Atlético de Madrid.

The last Hispanic that makes up the list is the Venezuelan from Inter Miami CF, Josef Martínez, occupying the tenth position, who recently reached the round figure of 100 goals in MLS and who receives a total of $4,391,667 dollars.

Other MLS stars can be seen in the rest of the Top 10, such as Federico Bernardeschi (4th, Toronto FC, $6,295,381 dollars), Douglas Costa (7th, LA Galaxy, $4,508,333 dollars) or the former top scorer for the Belgium, Christian Benteke (9th, DC United, $4,432,778).
