The Rayados de Monterrey continue with an unstoppable rhythm and this Saturday defeated the Xolos de Tijuana by a landslide 4-0to ratify with the victory his leadership in the Closing Tournament of the Mx League.
The rout was led by two of Monterrey’s stars: the Uruguayan Rodrigo Aguirre and the Argentine Germán Berterame.
In the case of the attacker Aguirre, he was present on the scoreboard just 5 minutes into the game and by 22 minutes the difference increased, confirming his double against Miguel Herrera’s team.
The story was repeated later at 32 ‘and 76’ through Berterame, who also contributed two goals in one of the most feared forwards in the MX League.
Monterrey’s victory allowed them to reach 11 wins, with one tie, one setback and 34 pointsnine above Toluca and León who accumulate 25 units for seven wins, four draws and two losses.
