Miguel Molina won this Sunday in the 24 hours of Le Mans, becoming the third Spaniard to achieve it, after Marc Gené did so in 2009 and Fernando Alonso in 2018 and 2019. The Catalan driver achieves victory with the Ferrari team , along with the Italian Antonio Fuoco and the Dane Nicklas Nielsen, in a day in which rain and the safety car lasting more than four hours at night marked the test.

In addition, Molina had to overcome a mandatory pit stop with one hour and 42 minutes left, when the lock on the right door of his car failed, which seemed to jeopardize his chances of victory when he was comfortably leading. However, the appearance of rain again allowed him to save a stop and reach the end of the race with one stop less than the rest of his competitors.
