A 20-year-old migrant woman was arrested Thursday night in Manhattan after slapping a police officer who was trying to impound her unregistered motorcycle.as reported by NYPD.

The woman, who was identified as Baibaia Rodríguez, 20, resisted arrest and obstructed government administration, in addition to harassing the agent.

The incident occurred outside the Stratford Arms Hotel, an Upper West Side shelter for asylum seekers, where Rodriguez was staying. According to NYPD, Rodriguez had also been arrested in July for assaulting her boyfriend in the Bronx.

Police were conducting a scooter raid in the area, after receiving complaints from the community about noise and disorder caused by shelter residents.

A video captured by a camera shows how several people confront the police as they try to take the motorcycles and bicycles.

An officer is heard yelling: “Come back! Come back ”and“ Brother, you are going to be arrested ”to a young man who refuses to let go of his bike.

Rodríguez was taken to a police station and charged with various crimes. It is unknown if she has an attorney representing her.

Neighbors concerned about the situation at Stratford Arms

Neighbors of the Stratford Arms, led by Joe Germanotta, and father of pop singer Lady Gaga, expressed their concern about the immigration situation, alleging that they have flooded the area with garbage, drugs and have started riots.

“The worst is at night. Noise. It starts around 10:00 a.m. and will last until 4:00 a.m. Playing music and racing motocross and motorbikes through the streets.”Germanotta, 66, said in statements to the New York Post last month.

Police confiscated four mopeds, a motorcycle and a scooter, as well as nine bicycles that were illegally chained to a post.
