The Miami Heat continue with their overwhelming pace and this Sunday they beat the Boston Celtics 128-102 to get the third victory of the series (3-0) and be located just one step away from the NBA Finals.
An impressive collective performance in which at least seven players surpassed 10 points and with a total of 35-19 on three-pointers, helped Miami reach the victory led by the performance of Gabe Vincent, who achieved a career-high scoring 29 points and a strong 14-11 record from the field (9-6 from 3-pointers).
Along with Vincent, Miami star Jimmy Butler contributed 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
The only bad news for the locals was Kevin Love’s injurywho left the game in the first quarter due to a sore left ankle and did not return to the court.
In a losing effort for the Celtics, Jayson Tatum slumped with 14 points while Jaylen Brown also slumped with 12 points, including a 7-1 3-point run.
The Heat are about to become the second team in NBA history to reach the NBA Finals as eighth in their conference.
On that occasion, in 1999, the New York Knicks was able to achieve the feat but in the finals they fell to the San Antonio Spurs (4-1) led by Tim Duncan who won the MVP of the series for the ring.
