Marc Jobst, director of Daredevil and One Piece, assures that Born Again will be an incredible series

The 2022 San Diego Comic-Con International Convention (Comic-Con) was the space where it was announced that Disney+ will bring back Daredevil – 98% in 2024, after the series “The Man Without Fear”, released in 2015, was canceled just three years after its release on Netflix. However, the adaptation may or may not start from the premise of the comics, since audiovisual productions are not always faithful to the originals. Although this could lower the expectations of the character’s fans a bit, both the protagonist and Marc Jobst, the director and producer, have insinuated at different times that the eighteen tentative chapters of the production will be of high quality and will make viewers very happy. . I can’t imagine Charlie, Vince and Jon signing up for something that they felt bland. They just wouldn’t. So, one way or another, Disney must have persuaded them to say: this is a journey worth taking.

Likewise, he expressed that, to work with adaptations of Marvel superheroes, a fundamental requirement is to dimension them in such a way that they are credible.

If you base, dimension, give a human fragility (and I don’t mean weakness) to the Marvel characters, they will be credible to the public. If you just have them flying up into the sky without any kind of human feeling, then it looks a bit like PG-13 or whatever.

The Zimbabwean-born director and executive producer has risen from production to production to become one of Netflix’s most prolific creators.
