A 21-year-old man who until last week had been a student at the University of CaliforniaDavis campus, was arrested for allegedly stabbing three people, two of them to death, and unleashing fear in the quiet university community, city police said.
Davis Police Chief Darren Pytel said Thursday that Carlos Dominguez was taken into custody Wednesday after 15 people called to report the presence of a person matching the suspect’s description near a downtown park where the second victim was killed.
Pytel did not disclose the motive for the killings, noting that Police still don’t know if Dominguez knew his victims.
