I’m willing to do anything. I’ll have to schedule a knee exam before filming, but if there’s an idea I’m excited about, I’m all for it. …if I could find a way to reincarnate Donna, that interests me. Or it could be like one of those soap operas where Donna comes back and reveals that it was actually her twin sister who died.

And it is that the death of Donna’s character sparked a great controversy among the many followers of the film, because in the eyes of many it was somewhat unnecessary and forced. But the truth is that, after the new statements from the creator and producer of the musical, Judy Craymerthis decision had a compelling reason.
