The NFL announced Monday that the Levi’s Stadium of the San Francisco 49ers was chosen as the venue for Super Bowl LX in 2026.

The news was expressed by the commissioner of the NFL, Roger Goodell, during the spring meeting held in Minneapolis.

“We look forward to working with the 49ers and the Bay Area Host Committee to create an impactful Super Bowl LX in 2026,” Goodell said.

This way San Francisco will host the NFL title game again, 10 years after Super Bowl 50in which the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10.

It is worth noting that this is the second Super Bowl to be held at Levi’s Stadium, after its opening in 2014.
