NEW YORK – Millionaire businessman and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein threatened to expose an affair Bill Gates allegedly had with a Russian bridge player in 2010.after the Microsoft co-founder refused to join his philanthropic venture, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) published this Sunday.

Epstein discovered that Gates allegedly had an affair with Mila Antonova, a then-20-year-old card player, while he was married to Linda Gates, and then tried to use that information to threaten one of the richest men in the worldaccording to what people familiar with the matter told the outlet.

Epstein met Antonova in 2013 and later paid for her to attend a software coding school.

In 2017, Epstein emailed Gates and asked him to reimburse him for the cost of the course, according to WSJ.

The email came after the convicted sex offender failed to convince Gates to participate in a multimillion-dollar charity fund that Epstein tried to set up with JPMorgan Chase.

The message implied that Epstein could reveal the love affair if Gates did not ally with him.

Gates, 67, a technology adviser to Microsoft and one of its major shareholders, He has said that he met with Epstein a few times just to talk about philanthropy, which he regrets and calls a mistake..

“Gates met with Epstein solely for philanthropic purposes. After repeatedly failing to move Gates further on these issues, Epstein unsuccessfully attempted to take advantage of a past relationship to threaten Gates,” a Gates spokesperson was quoted as saying by WSJ.

Epstein met Antonova while looking for financial backers for a bridge academy in 2013.

The following year, in November 2014, Antonova stayed briefly in a New York home provided by Epstein. “I did not interact with him or anyone else while I was there.”she told the WSJ.

Antonova decided to change careers and become a software programmer and asked various people to lend her money to undertake these studies.

“Epstein agreed to pay and paid the school directly. Nothing was exchanged. I don’t know why he did that. When I asked him, he said something like he was rich and wanted to help people when he could.”Antonova recalled.

Epstein was charged in 2006 with sexually abusing children under the age of 14 and pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting and procuring a minor for prostitution.

He spent time in a Florida jail and registered as a sex offender.

After the Miami Herald reported that there were many more minors and women who had been abused by Epstein, he was arrested in 2019 on sex trafficking charges. Finally, he committed suicide that same year in a New York jail.
