The technical director of the Mexican national team, Jaime Lozano, offered his statements this Monday at a press conference prior to the match that his team will play against the Uzbekistan team.; In this match El Tri will seek to maintain their good pace of competition and try to achieve a victory in order to be as well prepared for the path that will take them to the 2026 Soccer World Cup.

Finally, the coach of the Mexican team stated that it is important to prioritize each of the aspects of the match just as they did against Australia so as not to be victims of confidence and thus be able to achieve victory.
“Uzbekistan lost to the United States, but there were two goals in the final half, they are good teams, maybe the name is not what you think, but they are good teams. Take this again as a Copa América or World Cup team, and then if we improve we may have a better result.
