This realm, also known as the Dispersed Vergence, is described in the Worlds in Chains Theorem and envisioned in sacred Jedi texts stored in the Jedi Temple on the planet Ahch-To, and offers a channel between the worlds of the living and the dead. Those who manage to control this plane would have a stranglehold on existence itself, something even Darth Sidious found challenging.

The entrance to this mystical plane is remarkably complex. In the Jedi Temple on the planet Lothal, a mural of the gods of Mortis—the Father, the Daughter, and the Son—serves as a kind of key. When a Force user places their hand over the Daughter’s encased hand in the mural, a portal is activated. The native creatures of Lothal, the Loth-wolves, are intrinsically linked to this world and can move through it in a manner similar to hyperspace travel.

This realm rose to prominence when Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger discovered its entrance into the Lothal Jedi Temple. Bridger even went so far as to save Ahsoka Tano by pulling her out of the past into this plane. However, in attempting to change the fate of her master, Kanan Jarrus, Ahsoka persuaded him to understand the importance of sacrifice and the authenticity of deeds.
