Alessandra Rampolla He knows about new beginnings and is not afraid of change or impact. She didn’t have them when she began to speak freely about sexuality in times when there were still taboos. Nor when she underwent a gastric bypass with which she lost 60 kilos. Less so, when the opportunity arose to move abroad.

Rampolla had just spent a season in Argentina and worked on shows such as Cuestión de peso and El club de las divorciadas, when the pandemic broke out. At that moment, the Puerto Rican woman had the possibility of starting from scratch, far from America.

The sexologist was offered to be part of Married at First Sight, a successful Australian reality show. She then left for Sydney, with her suitcases, her dog and without friends or contacts, to surrender to the adventure of the unknown at a very particular time for the world.

This is what Alessandra told Maite Peñoñori, for La Nación: “I had started 2020 in Argentina doing Cuestión de peso, turned off the TV and spent four months locked in the apartment I had with my dog. “In that, Australia appears, where they had closed the country and Covid was not circulating and they were making television.”

THE CHALLENGE IT WAS FOR ALESSANDRA RAMPOLLA TO MOVE TO AUSTRALIA

The decision to move to Australia was challenging for the professional. “I went there without knowing a single human being. They were challenges not only professionally but also on a personal level”he commented in the interview he gave to the former LAM angel in Miami.

Living in Sydney, Alessandra gained weight for the first time in 13 years due to stress. “When I returned to Puerto Rico I went to see the doctor, my vitamin D was at rock bottom, my cortisol was through the roof, so I put my body in balance and it organized itself and I lost weight. There I learned and understood that it is a lifelong commitment to my health,” he counted.
