Having so much work ended up taking an ugly toll on the beloved host Mario Massaccesi, who suffered an illness in the middle of the air of the news program “En Síntesis.”which runs every midnight on the 13th screen, and had to be replaced from one moment to the next by his companions, who were surprised by the situation and had to urgently “take the bull by the horns.”

Although it doesn’t make too much noise and it is a time slot that has lost a bit of presence in recent times, midnight television exists. At number 13 it has been occupied, for many years, by a news program that was very formal and became less formal as the same thing happened with its visible face and with its panelists, who in yesterday’s case were the charismatic and engaging José Bianco and sports specialist Juan Butvilofsky nicknamed “Buty”. Today, “In Synthesis” has nothing to do with what it was before.

Massacesi has been hosting, for a few weeks now, the return of the reality show Cuestión de Peso, also on 13. The presentation of this cycle and the novelty that he led it in a different role from that of the rigorous and accurate journalist that he always occupied, led him to a frenetic stream of notes and interviews that, for example, deposited him again on the tables of Mirtha Legrand, where an uncomfortable question that the diva asked her once became famous.

One thing, the other, their radio appearances, the changed schedules, the meals at any time, the reduced rest, the stress due to the rating that goes up or down, the tension of accompanying a group of people who are trying to beat obesity. and they get down when they stumble and end up “ruining” it and Massaccesi, suddenly, lost his voice and could hardly breathe and had to be helped by his side, who took over the transmission and sent him to take care of himself a little.

MARIO MASSACCESI SUFFERED AN ILLNESS LIVE AND HAD TO BE REPLACED ON AIR BY HIS COLLEAGUES

Hard-headed and hard-working, Massaccesi tried to carry out his duties even though his throat was already telling him that he needed a rest and a refreshment. He started the program but he already seemed affected and in trouble. As best he could, he managed to present some of the broadcast but at one point he was left without any voice and with very little lung capacity in an imitation of what happened to Marcelo Tinelli when his throat swelled and he almost fainted in the middle of Showmatch.

With “Marito’s” face paling second by second, his companions took pity on him and immediately faced his replacement “in límine.” “Hello… Hello… a while ago I lost my voice…” A diminished Massaccesi managed to clear his throat in a liquorish tone. He was neither acting handsome nor interesting: I just didn’t give any more. As best he could, he introduced Ignacio González Prieto from Corrientes – the Loan case continues, of course – and then he was no longer seen on screen. Take care, Mario!
