‘House of the Dragon’, ‘The Boys’ and other series recommended for June 2024 | Television

And the Irish conflict is at the center of the drama The Way (day 25 on Filmin). In addition, the third season of The Bridgertons (day 13 on Netflix) will have its last four chapters.

The series created and starring Quinta Brunson has understood what is the key to a comedy: that the viewers become fond of and care about its characters. And the teachers at this Philadelphia public elementary school are loved as soon as you meet them. It is impossible not to fall in love with good old Janine or laugh at Ava’s eccentricities. With a false documentary format (in the wake of Modern Family, Parks & Recreation either The Office), its plots follow the daily lives of a group of officials who have to deal with budget problems, general discouragement and professional relationships that frequently become personal.

The Boys

With Victoria Neuman’s race for the White House in the background, the new season delves into the political satire that this superhero series has always enclosed with an extra dose of gore. Patriot is strengthening his ties with his son. The Seven have two new additions that will make them even more dangerous. And, on the other side, Carnicero knows that he only has a few months to live. In the new episodes, unexpected alliances emerge, while some characters have to face equally unexpected personal problems. Violence, blood, black humor and savage satire dominate in one of those series that proudly claim to be a great entertainment product.

When and where to watch it? The first three episodes of season four premiere June 13 on Amazon Prime Video, followed by a new episode each week.

Presumed innocent

David E. Kelley, one of the most respected television creators, is responsible for this adaptation of the 1990 film starring Harrison Ford (which, in turn, adapted a novel). Now the protagonist is Jake Gyllenhaal, who plays a prosecutor who will become the main suspect in the murder of a colleague from the Chicago prosecutor’s office, with whom he had more than just a professional relationship. The protagonist will have to try to prove his innocence when everything is against him and while his marriage and family fall apart. A story full of twists and turns that maintains the aroma and flavor of those thrillers nineties fans who made us enjoy so much.

When her father dies, a lawyer decides to leave her job at a prestigious law firm in Madrid to move to Cambados, in Galicia, and find out more about her father’s past.
