H&M announces that its next collaboration will be with Mugler | Fashion | The USA Print

H&M has announced that its next collaboration will be with the Mugler house. The Mugler H&M collection, created under the direction of Mugler’s creative director, Casey Cadwallader, “will encapsulate the unique and vibrant spirit of Mugler.” The collection will be available online and in select stores during spring 2023.

H&M’s history of collaborations with designers is legendary and pioneering. For nearly two decades, H&M has democratized haute couture by offering global audiences the chance to own special pieces of history at affordable prices.

Fashion lovers have enjoyed many collaborations between the Swedish brand and luxury brands. Karl Lagerfeld (2004), Stella McCartney (2005), Marni (2012), Kenzo (2016), Erdem (2018) have been some of the most successful.

In an interview published in S Moda Casey Cadwallader explained how she understood the concept of sexy today. “Women no longer dress to get the attention of men. Not to compete with each other, on the contrary. It sexy it now has more to do with one’s own power and security, even with sisterhood, than with the idea of pleasing the male gaze.
