The Mexican goalkeeper, Jonathan Orozco, was one of the soccer players invited this weekend by Rayados de Monterrey to welcome forward Jesús ‘Tecatito’ Corona to the club; At his presentation, the goalkeeper was applauded by all the club’s fans and they even asked the board to return to their ranks to support the three posts as he did in his best years.

This show of affection on the part of the followers of ‘La Pandilla’ sparked the desire to wear the club’s colors again for Orozco, who stated that he was more than willing to return to their ranks and even said that he would play again without charging a single dollar for the simple and sincere love he has for the Aztec institution.

“I already told you that for the love of the shirt I’m coming back, for free, without them paying me a peso, just for gas, but it’s for the love of the club, for the love I have for it and I hope I can close my career here,” expressed the player in his statements to the various media that were present at the welcome ceremony for Tecatito Corona.

Orozco, who is currently 37 years old, admitted that he has even had some talks with the president of Rayados de Monterrey, José Antonio Noriega, to be able to reach an agreement that will allow him to return to the ranks of the club even if it is for one more season to thus fulfilling the desire of all the fans.

“We have talked, yes, the president and Jorge Urdiales have been very attentive, he has taken care of all those issues. If it is possible and there are conditions, welcome. It doesn’t depend on me, on many issues. It’s my dream, I would love to be able to close my career at the club. Let’s see if it can be achieved,” she emphasized.

“Yes, there have been talks. Today I had a meeting with Tato, but I did let him know that with the issue of my injury, with the recovery, I am not in the condition or with the desire to be able to train one hundred percent, because I come from a very complicated recovery with the issue of my wrist and what I want is to be at one hundred to compete for a position. I know that I am going to miss this tournament, once due to health reasons, and in December I want to be at 100 to return and I don’t plan to play for more than a year, because my wrist was somewhat injured,” Orozco concluded.
