The Formula 1 World Championship continues with the second race of the championship, after Max Verstappen’s overwhelming victory during the season opener in Bahrain. Now, in Saudi Arabia, drivers like Checo Pérez, Carlos Sainz or Charles Leclerc will try to snatch a victory from the Dutch champion, who has already warned that he is as strong as last season. On the other hand, Fernando Alonso will want to show that he has the potential for more, after a first race in which he finished ninth and scored two points.

Hamilton, with soft tires, in eighth place. Russell, 4th, two tenths behind Verstappen’s mark.

Alonso, two tenths behind the Dutchman, third.

Verstappen places first, with 1,28,491

Piastri, first with 1.28.755, and his teammate Norris, second at 50 thousandths

Leclerc places second and does not surpass Alonso in his first attempt, at 0.128.

Hamilton, currently 6th, 4 tenths behind the Asturian. He and his partner, Russell, the only ones who have come out with medium tires

Alonso places first at 1.28.876 in his first lap.

The cars hit the track! Norris, the first to make his return

Let’s remember that Carlos Sainz is out due to appendicitis. Oliver Bearman will be his replacement.
