The Norwegian from Manchester City, Erling Haaland, continues to make football history despite his young age and this Wednesday he broke the record for most goals during the same season in the Premier League by scoring in Manchester City’s 3-0 victory against West Ham.
Haaland managed to pulverize the mark scoring his 35th Premier League goal of the season just with his first shot at the Hammers goal.
It was 71 minutes into the game when City recovered a ball in the middle of the field that found the West Ham defense out of place and the Android took advantage of this to do his thing and get the score.
At the feet of Jack Grealish, the Englishman managed to put a pass between the lines to Haaland who stung and barely received the ball defined coldly Vaseline to score a great goal which meant 2-0 on the scoreboard.
With the goal, Haaland surpassed the 34 goals that the historic scorers Alan Shearer (1994-1995) and Andy Cole (1993-1994) had scored, to write their name in the history books of the English top flight.
In the end, Manchester City ended up winning thanks to goals from Haaland himself and from Nathan Ake and Phil Phoden, to increase their lead in the Premier League.
