Former United States President Donald Trump has been found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in a plot in which he tried to hide the payment of $130,000 to former porn actress Stormy Daniels to buy her silence. The reading of the sentence will take place on July 11 and, after hearing the news, several Hollywood stars have spoken out supporting the court’s decision.

The model andnfluencer Emily Ratajkowski has walked the streets of New York wearing a t-shirt with the face of Stormy Daniels, a porn actress who has always maintained that she had an affair with Trump and who was silenced through checks and threats. Although she has not spoken publicly, she has shown her joy at the news through her clothing.

Ratajkowski is not the only one who has shown euphoria over Trump’s conviction. De Niro, who has already spoken out against Trump on multiple occasions, has also evaluated the conviction through an interview. “This should never have come to this point. I don’t want to talk, but I’m very upset about it. I have to say something. This is my country. This guy wants to destroy it. He is crazy”, declared to Variety. “Today would be a good day for members of the Republican Party to seriously reflect on their devotion to a convicted felon,” Steve Martin tweeted, while Mark Hamill posted a photo on the social network that read the word “guilty.”

“Convicted felon Donald Trump blames the judge, the jury and New York for being found guilty on 34 charges. He will never accept responsibility for his crimes. “Americans must not allow this criminal to get close to the White House again,” argued Barbra Streisand.

For his part, the actor John Cusack said: “Trump’s sentencing will give Judge Merchant the largest platform in American history to restore the rule of law. His words from that day will reverberate for years to come, if we manage to defeat the fascism that has taken over a party and the Supreme Court.”
