The children of Gerard Piqué and Colombian singer Shakira are making the most of their trip to their mother’s homeland, Barranquilla, where this Sunday the eldest, Milan, enjoyed an exciting local league soccer game between Junior de Barranquilla and National Athletic.

As expected, the young man showed his support for the team that represents his mother’s land, Junior, and this was reflected in the different images spread on social networks where the young Piqué is seen in the box at the Roberto Meléndez Metropolitan Stadium in Barranquilla.

Milan and Sasha Piqué, is accompanying his mother on her trip to Colombia whose main reason was to inaugurate the Nuevo Bosque Pies Descalzos District Educational Institution, with which he hopes to help in the education of more than 1,000 children annually who do not have the resources for this.

$4 million dollars (more than 16,000 million Colombian pesos) was the investment made for the construction of this school that has 22 regular classrooms, four preschool classrooms, two laboratories, art rooms, library, dining room, kitchen and other spaces common so that students and the community can take advantage of them.

This is one of the nine institutions that Shakira has built in different locations in Colombia, through her foundation, however the singer affirms that “we have to continue working”, which is why others are already being built in Quibdó (Chocó), Barranquilla (Atlántico) and Tibú (Norte de Santander), as well as academic centers in the department of La Guajira.
