Edge defeated ‘The Demon’ Finn Bálor at WrestleMania 39 in a Hell in a Cell Match.
Throughout this year we have seen how The Judgment Day has been constantly evolving. At first, Edge was the one who started this faction, adding Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley to his cast. Weeks later, the latter two betrayed their leader to welcome Finn Bálor as the new leader of the faction. After several months of rivalry, both have fought at WrestleMania 39.
The combat began quite aggressive on both sides, since they began to hit each other with various objects. During several sections of the fight, the equality was exchanged between several superstars where they beat each other without any mercy, even breaking a table on Edge’s body. During a section of the fight, several doctors had to enter since Edge hit Bálor with a ladder in his face, which caused him to bleed. In the final moments of the fight, Edge applied a “With-Chair-To” to take the victory.
This fight has been special because after several months of absence, Finn Bálor has brought back ‘The Demon’, being his last appearance against Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules 2021. After this defeat by Bálor, everything seems to indicate that the rivalry between the two has ended after several months of dispute.
