The influential Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos installed a monumental wedding cake in the Waddesdon Manor garden at the beginning of last June, a property seventy kilometers from London. It is a twelve meter high installation in which Vasconcelos worked for five years using ceramic tiles from her country to unite “pastry and sculpture”, according to her own words. If you let yourself be seduced by this structure in tones, obviously pastel, you can visit it until October 26 and walk inside. Also get married, for that matter.
