A man was fatally stabbed to death on Easter Sunday in Coney Island before attempting to seek help, collapsing and losing his life at the time.indicated a witness to the media Daily News.
The 23 year old had a fight with two other subjects between the ages of 20 and 30 prior to the attackthe authorities reported. Responding officers found him dead. at W. 23rd Street and Mermaid Avenue in Brooklyn at 2:12 p.m.
Footage from the scene showed a bloody fingerprint of the victim on a handle on the driver’s door of a minivan. Chrysler Town & Country that was parked on Mermaid Avenue.
So far the details of the altercation between the young man and the other two men have not been immediately clarified.
For his part, a King’s Food Market employee said he could see the victim’s desperate attempt to call the police after the crime.
“He drove to the police station,” Mohammed Asif said. “When he got to the police station, he lost consciousness and tried to get out of the car and collapsed.”
The man was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he was pronounced dead.
