Singer Doja Cat she announced that she is preparing new music, but revealed that she is no longer interested in continuing to create pop music.
A few days ago, the Grammy winner announced through her social networks that she is working on at least 15 tracks, which could compose her next record.
However, she told her followers that she no longer has an interest in making pop music, since she is now attracted to rap.
The controversial singer tweeted “No More Pop”explaining that she will move away from the genre, adding in comments that she is no longer excited by this type of music.
“Pop no longer excites me. I do not want to do it”he explained.
Derived from her messages, Doja Cat was criticized for her inclination to rap, where some Internet users told her that this style is not her forte.
“I also agree with everyone who said that most of my rap verses are lackluster and cheesy. I know they are. I wasn’t trying to prove anything, I just enjoy making music, but I’m getting sick of hearing them say I can’t, so I’ll do it.”he wrote in another tweet.
So far, the singer of “Say So” has not given any date for the release of her next album.
