One decreepublished on Saturday 28 January at Official newspaper, indicates that this type of work stoppage, without a day offfor people with Covid will no longer be possible from February 1, 2023. The issuance of derogatory work stoppages is therefore finished, and those even for an impossibility of remote work. Set up at the start of the pandemic, in 2020, this system was to expire at the end of 2023. The government has decided to shorten this time in view of the health situation, which seems to be improving, going from 25,000 hospitalizations at the end of December, to less than 16,000 currently, according to Covid Tracker (source 1).
The Directorate General for Health has announcedother developments which will take effect from February 1. The systematic isolation of positive cases and the carrying out of a test after 2 days for their contacts will not be more mandatory. Even if the mandatory nature disappears at the beginning of next month, these measures remain highly recommended. Another change, therecord of positive test results in the SI-DEP computer file will no longer be automatic and will depend on consent prior to the persons concerned.
